Describe how you will meet the criteria above

The office is large. Social distancing should not be difficult. All work stations are more than 6' apart. There will be times that employees will need to be closer than 6 feet, and all employees will have face masks and instructions to always wear them when closer than 6 feet from anyone. There already is a 6 foot wall separating the customers from the employees. The break room is large enough for 2 employees to take a break or eat at the same time and maintain distance.

Telework / Minimal Contact

Protect personnel at high risk for severe illness through telework, or minimizing contact with the public and other employees when able Yes

Limit In-Person Gatherings

Limit in-person gatherings (e.g. interviews) as much as possible and use tele- or video-conferencing whenever possible. Essential in-person gatherings (e.g. meetings) should be held in open, well-ventilated spaces with appropriate social distancing among participants Yes

Describe how you will meet the criteria above

We will be working with 3 cashiers. Most customers will be required to have an appointment. We will have 2 cashiers working on appointments and one for "walk ins." If someone does not have an appointment they will need to text their name to a DMV phone. They will get a message that says go back to your car and wait. We will call you when you may enter. We will only allow people to enter 5 minutes before an appointment, and only allow 1 walk in person at a time to wait. There is ample space to allow for distancing. There will be no more than a few people in the office waiting at one time. We will encourage the public to use mail or drop box for transactions that do not need to be done in person.

Remote Work

Identify those employees that can remote work-from-home Yes

What types of positions may do remote work-from-home?

There is no possibility of remote work of any kind for the DMV. We already use a 4 day work week.

We will clean and sanitize the frequently touched areas often throughout each day. Each employee will have their own bottles of hand sanitizer, and we will have hand sanitizer available for the public to use. I hope to get a no touch unit for this. We have a bathroom that is stocked with soap and paper towels so hand washing will be very easy and encouraged to be done often. Customer facing devoces will need to be clean between customers.
